Can anyone recommend a good read? I'm looking for something really dark and twisted and that really taps into the mind. I'm contemplating American Psycho just now, and looking at Beloved and The Anubis Gates. Anyone got something to add?

the one and only good book i've ever read is the first 4 books of the Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy. everything else i've read bores me to death.

if you want somthing dark , i haven't read it but some friend showed me the movie : Perfum : The story of a murderer , and it was nice, dark and twisted too lol , he recommended me to read book if i liked . you might have seen the movie though

yeah i was a bit sceptical before watching movie , mostly from the title "the perfum" , but i was surprised in good .
