Good call, SC 2 cost is BRUTAL, i mean what the hell is going on with 90€ collectors edition? I may sneak it for the single player campaign if anything.

Anything else? *looks at steam sales*

Admittedly it is a bit pricey for a PC game, but if the critics are right, it's one hell of a game.

I played it a bit on a friends, and single player has a good amount of new units and so, but on multiplayer is just a SC1 remake, and i think is for balance's sake or just because South Korean community has to be pleased in any way...

Also yeah, pretty much you can get awesome deals from digital distribution companies, like Steam sales (Summer sale was fucking awesome).

Theres a web hosted by a SA Goon wich is pretty much your daily sale announcer, you wont miss a game for cheap if you read this like 2 mins every day.

mmm nope. been watching releases to find anything that tickles my fancy like bf1942 and cod. only thing i ended up playing was cod4 and bfbc2. where the bfbc2 was a bit tough to get into because the weapons were a bit unbalanced (fixed now) and playing against people who have no lives is quite frustrating, you end up choosing a medic gun because it sprays well and is the only means for survival against the unlocked weapons.

there was a time where i bought games because i wanted to see if it was any good online, but with current prices at 50 euros a game id rather get stoned and watch a movie with friends SC2 is 50 euros............ and all it does is remind me how cool part 1 was. Same thing with all the Command and Conquer releases...

dont get me wrong i still like gaming but to me the quality of games is slowly being replaced by the ever growing need of more $$$$$...

Starcraft 1 was really nice, but i didnt play it for like... 9 years, so after installing it again i knew the time passed not so well for it (also the fact that i play on a 20'' screen) and the so-simple but yet need of lots of APM (Actions Per Minute) system made me feel bad about it.

The maps i loved the most on SC1 were these tower defense ones called "Art of Defense" series, because it was damn fun playing with friends with all 3 races and try to survive the waves. Seems that SC2 has a few of these maps already included on MP.

Anyways the only RTS in YEARS that really touched me is Dawn of War series, and Dawn of War 2 is more of a RTS-RPG mixture that i quite like it. I still have old C&C games around, last ones i liked were Red Alert 2 and Tiberian Sun, but C&C 3 aint that bad, just not reaches full awesomeness old ones did, blame Westwood being bought by EA and changing the design.

Btw, for any of you looking EA as the evil company, they're now far of what they were, instead Ubisoft and Activision got the lead on that
